My Philosophy on Life
My life philosophy is quite simple and one I borrowed from a quote a long time ago. Live each day as if it is your last,
yesterday is gone, tomorrow may never happen, we only have the here and now.
A little bit about my history.
I normally tell people I am yankee born but southern raised. I was born in North Tarrytown, NY. You know the place, it
is commonly referred to as Sleepy Hollow. My childhood was split between New York and Viriginia; the majority of it spent
in Virginia. I will always claim Virginia as my home state, though I no longer live there.
In recent years I have lived in Mayberry aka Mount Airy, North Carolina. My most current resident is in beautiful Myrtle
Beach, South Carolina. Very different from the mountains of southwest Virginia, northwest North Carolina. I do love it here,
the people are very interesting and of course the scenery is something else. I have had the fortune of living in Joplin, Missouri
for a small tour of duty and then in Indianapolis, Indianna.

My Work History
I will keep this section fairly brief. I have held many jobs in the actual work place. Everything from amusement park
ride attendant to clerical. I have worked in health care on various levels and positions. I have run a Certified Naturally
Grown market garden. I have helped my husband run a few of his businesses. The fields I have worked in are wide and varied.
You could say I get bored easily. But it is more that I love adventure and it took me quite some time to figure out what
I wanted to be when I grew up. Well that time has finally arrived. Other than the desire to be a full time college student,
I am settling for the following occupations:
1. Domestic Engineer
2. Taxi Driver
3. Mom
4. Wife
5. Writer
Not that these aren't in any particular order. Being home with my family and writing full time is what I love.
My Education
I went to a number of elementary and high schools in both New York and Virginia. Educational requirements vary between
those states, so it was always a challenge to figure out in which classes I belonged in.
As for college, I have attended Virginia Tech, Germanna Community College, College of Health Sciences, and the Art Institute
Online. I do have a degree in General Science from the College of Health Sciences.
I have studied animal science, agricultural economics, psychology, sociology and many, many other subjects. As for my
current educational status, I am self educating. I spend quite a bit of time reading books and googling topics of interest.
